我们，来自柔佛州的11个民间团体和人权组织，2019年12月26日发表<三点声明>如下： 

❶ 我们支持董教总将在12月28日召开的全国华团大会，敦促希盟联邦政府取消在华淡小推行介绍爪夷字单元。我们促请所有来自各族群特别是母语为华文、淡米尔文的相关团体也表示支持。

❷ 董教总坚决不接受、不认同、不执行介绍教育部将在华小落实的爪夷字单元执行指南（爪夷指南）是完全合情合理的。董教总的立场不会对普通马来群众的权利和利益造成任何影响。但是，董教总的立场不是统治集团内那些马来精英所乐见的。为了延长统治，这些统治集团处心积虑分化人民，并且通过国家伊斯兰化对非穆斯林群体强硬推行同化政策。

❸ 广大各族人民已经认识到马哈迪政权不单沒有民主改革的意志，相反的还积极维护和推动各项服務於马來主权的政策和措施，比如在国民型小学马来文课本纳入学习爪夷文的内容。因此，广大各族人民特别是华印族以及沙巴和砂拉越各少数民族的领袖和群众，必须求同存异、团结一致坚持争取各领域实现民族平等。

　Support the 28 Dec Chinese Organisation Congress and its demands!

We, the undersigned 11 community groups and human rights organisations based in Johor are releasing a joint statement on 26 December 2019 with the three positions below:

1. We support the nationwide Chinese communities meeting called by Dong Jiao Zong on the 28th of December to urge the Pakatan Harapan federal government to withdraw the Jawi scripts learning intent in both national-typed Chinese and Tamil primary schools. We urge all the concerned groups across ethnic communities especially the Chinese and Tamil spoken ones to show support for this event.

2. The open calls made by Dong Jiao Zong to not accept, agree with and execute the Jawi Scripts Learning Guidelines imposed by the Ministry of Education in the national-typed Chinese schools are rightful. It will not affect the rights and interests of ordinary Malays at all but certainly offend those (Malay elites) among the ruling clique with the motive to divide and rule the people and implement 'forced assimilation' non-Muslims ethnic groups using state Islamization agenda to prolong their rule. 

3.  The broad masses have generally realised that Mahathir's regime not only has no will in implementing democratic reforms agenda, instead it is aggravating the Malay supremacy racial policies and measures such as introducing Jawi lesson in primary schools. Therefore, the people of all ethnic groups, especially the community leaders and broad masses of the Chinese, Indian and other ethnic minorities in peninsula and Sabah and Sarawak, should put aside any prejudice and unite to demand for the materialisation of ethnic equality in every aspect.
