李志坚逃亡福建莆田被捕

[ 古晋2016-12-13讯 ]：一名涉嫌砂州人民公正党美里支部秘书和柏根努州议席选区候选人比尔卡勇（Bill Kayong）命案的幕后主谋，经过近6个月逃亡后终于落网。他是一名拥有拿督头衔的公司老板。
砂拉越州总警长拿督马兹兰曼苏（Datuk Mazlan Mansor）在一项文告中说，他是被福建莆田的中国公安局驱逐出境而在今日（12月13日）晚上7时45分递解到达吉隆坡国际机场。
拿督马兹兰曼苏说，“拿督李志坚（Dato Stephen Lee）是在12月12日被福建莆田的中国公安局抓捕，随后移交给马来西亚当局。“
”李志坚是由砂州刑事调查主任拿督德威古玛（Datuk Dev Kumar）及其率领的一组特殊队伍前往中国押送回马的。”
“李志坚将在明天（14日）被运送到美里，他在美里法庭被指控为比尔卡勇命案的幕后主谋。”

比尔卡勇是在今年6月21日大白天，驾着一辆车在瓜拉巴兰支路的交通灯处停驶而在等候开行时，遭人枪杀而毙命。
从那时以来，警方迫切展开追查这宗谋杀案的嫌疑犯，已在8月将两名嫌疑犯控上法庭。
在此之前，相信李志坚是匿藏在澳洲墨尔本。警方当时收集的情报显示，李志坚在命案发生后两天（即6月23日）飞往新加坡。随后在7月3日再飞往澳洲。
这宗谋杀案，相信是跟李志坚所领导的种植公司与比尔卡勇所代表的原住民土地拥有人之间的长期存在的纠纷有关。

由于涉及命案，29岁的莫哈末费德里（Mohamad Fitri Pauzi）被指控为射击手而遭受逮捕，还有两人即39岁的李昌隆（Lie Chang Loon）和50岁的陈伟忠（Chin Wui Chung），被指控是命案的同谋者而遭受逮捕。
警察总长丹斯里卡立阿布巴卡（Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar）也对砂拉越警方追捕命案嫌疑犯的表现，在推特表示他的祝贺：“祝贺砂拉越警方及早在吉隆坡国际机场成功逮捕比尔卡勇命案的幕后主谋”

KUCHING: The main suspect behind the murder of PKR Miri branch secretary and Bekenu-PKR candidate Bill Kayong has been caught by the police.
Dato Stephen Lee was apprehended at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) at 7.45pm tonight after he was deported from China, said a press release from state Police Commissioner Datuk Mazlan Mansor.
“Lee was caught by the Ministry of Public Security, China in Putian, Fujian Province on Dec 12 and was subsequently handed over to the Malaysian authorities.
“He was escorted back by a special team led by state CID chief Datuk Dev Kumar,” the statement read.
Lee will be transported to Miri tomorrow, where he is accused of being the mastermind behind Bill’s murder.
Bill was shot and killed at the Kuala Baram bypass while waiting at a traffic intersection in broad daylight on June 21.
Since then, police have been hot on the heels of the murder suspects, charging two in August in relation to the murder.
Lee was previously believed to have been in hiding in Melbourne, Australia.
Information gathered by police at the time indicated he had flown to Singapore two days after the murder before departing to Australia on July 3.
The murder was believed to be in relation to a long-standing dispute between the plantation company headed by Lee and native land owners whom Bill had been representing.
Following the killing, police arrested and charged the alleged shooter, Mohamad Fitri Pauzi, 29, along with two other co-conspirators, Lie Chang Loon, 39, and Chin Wui Chung, 50.
Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar has also taken to Twitter to congratulate the state police on apprehending the suspect.
“Congratulations PDRM Sarawak on the successful arrest of the mastermind behind the murder of Bill Kayong at KLIA earlier,” he wrote.
